Okhaldhunga Khiji Demba Hine's jeep overturned in Manthali, killing three people

 

Three people, including two members of the same family, were killed when a double-cap bolero coming from Kathmandu to Khijidemba village of Okhaldhunga met with an accident at Ramechhap on Thursday.

Province 3-01-023 Cha 3513 Double Cap Bolero Manthali Municipality Ward No. 6 of Ramechhap fell 700 meters down from Bokse Bhir of Kunauri on the bank of Tamakoshi. The deceased have been identified as Lakpa Sherpa, 35, his wife Andaji Phurba Sherpa, 32, and Wangchu Sherpa, 36, of Khijifalate.

Pemba Sherpa, son of the deceased, who was critically injured in the accident, has been sent to Tamakoshi Hospital in Manthali, Ramechhap district headquarters for further treatment. According to police, Lakpa Sherpa, who died in the accident, was returning home from Portugal while Wangchu Sherpa Bolero is rich.
