Ranikhet and chickens started dying of pneumonia

Simkot. After 15 chickens die daily, the farmer's dream of opening a poultry farm remains unfulfilled. Farmers of Dandafya village of Simkot Gaonpalika-7 are yet to open a poultry farm after Ranikhet and chickens died due to pneumonia.

Poultry farming has been a source of income for a long time, but a local farmer, Banch Bahadur Sunar, lamented that his plan to earn a decent income by running his own business has been thwarted due to the disease. Sunar said, "Even though the district headquarters is connected to Simkot, it has not been able to save its chickens." According to him, the only source of income is poultry farming.

Dandafya: More than 200 chickens have died due to the disease in four villages in the last two weeks. Goungori Sunar, another local, said that it has been like a dream to open a poultry farm and become a businessman after all the chickens have died due to the same disease.

Local Kali Bahadur Sunar informed that there was a problem in poultry farming due to Ranikhet and pneumonia. According to the locals, the infected chickens have been barking, screaming and then dying.

According to Gyanendra Singh Budhathapa, chief of the Veterinary Development Hospital, Ranikhet is suffering from pneumonia due to the chickens brought from outside with the change of weather. Chief Thapa said, “The team will soon go to the affected areas with medicines to control the spread of the disease in Dandafya. ”
