Operation of Nagdhunga-Naubise road section blocked due to landslides

 

Kathmandu. The Nagdhunga-Naubise road section, which was blocked due to landslides after incessant rains, has come into operation. The Nagdhunga-Naubise road section, which was blocked at 5.30 this morning due to a landslide near Chisapani Dharan on Tribhuvan Highway, has been operational for some time now. Chief of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Khan informed that the road was brought into operation after six hours with the help of two excavators.




Due to the landslide, traffic was jammed in Thankot towards Kathmandu and Khanikhola towards Dhading. The highway has been repeatedly blocked due to landslides while widening the highway near Sisnekhola where the tunnel is being constructed.
