DHANUSHA, August 30 - A woman, who is in jail on charges of murdering her step-son in Mahottari, has given birth to a son there. According to Sanjiv Kumar Sah, Information Officer at the Mahottari Prison Office, Ragani Devi, 20, who came to the Jaleshwor Jail only last Wednesday after strangling her son to death.
Ragani (august), 20, the youngest wife of Chandra Kishor Yadav of Ram Gopalpur Municipality-6 of the district, had sent Ritesh Yadav, 5, to jail on Wednesday for murder.
Ten months ago, Chandra Kishor's eldest wife left her five-year-old and two-and-a-half-year-old sons in the care of her husband and killed her eldest son Ritesh on July 30. Ragani was arrested from Dhanusha on the same day of the incident and was sent to Jaleshwor Jail for trial on august 25.
